Betty Rose is a team of Bridal Specialists, dedicated to providing hair and makeup services for brides throughout NM, the Southwest, and destination weddings, as well as commercial and print work. The owner, Alanna Ferre, believes every client should leave the makeup chair feeling better than when they arrived.
Along with her team of Bettys, this professional aims to listen and make every client feel comfortable as they dive into the glamming process. Using quality products, Alanna and her Bettys enhance their clients’ natural beauty. Betty Rose believes that makeup artistry is not just an application, but a service and an experience for the client; it is an opportunity to truly connect with the person sitting in the chair.

Betty Rose was established by Alanna in February of 2014. Alanna’s career began after graduating from the University of New Mexico when she took a makeup course and worked as an apprentice under a local MUA where learned an array of techniques and valuable skills. The most important lesson that she has learned as a business owner is that you are only as good as the way you treat people. You can find Alanna spending most of her weekends doing bridal makeup, surrounded by the love that comes with a wedding day.
She was on 2 KASA Style's 'Beautiful You' TV segment talking all things beauty as their Makeup Expert for 2 years. She has been hired by NBC, Reelz, and done makeup for Celebrities like UFC fighter Holly Holm, Anne Heche from The Brave and Quinton Aaron from The Blindside. She has worked with Blank Square Productions for background makeup on T-pain’s music video, “A Million Times.” Her work has been published in Harper’s Bazaar December 2018 issue, Rocky Mountain Bride, Albuquerque the Magazine, Ellements Magazine, has been seen on billboards, on film for the Cancer Treatment Center of America and Direct Smile.
Alanna was voted Top 5 Makeup Artists in Albuquerque the Magazine's Best of the City Issue 2015, The Knot’s 2019, 2020 & 2021 Best of Weddings, and Wedding Wire’s Best of Weddings 2020 & 2021. Alanna has been a part of over 500 weddings and the Betty Rose team has collectively been hired by over 800 brides.
Alanna is a wife and step mom of 3 (as she likes to call her bonus babies). She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's in Psychology. From the age of 5, Alanna recalls always being referred to as an old soul, driving her to pursue a degree in psychology, which has transferred over to what makes her unique as a makeup artist. "My job is more than just applying makeup on a stranger. It's about making someone feel comfortable in their own skin. I love connecting with the clients during the applications. Especially when it's something like a wedding--emotions are heightened and often the client just needs someone to listen to or provide that genuine, positive energy space. I'm there to do both, all while making someone feel beautiful."
