Alanna Ferre (pronounced fur-ray) is the founder and owner of Betty Rose. She is a big animal lover. She has 2 cats and 2 dogs. She is a wife, a step mom of two boys and one girl (her bonus babies as she calls them) and feels that becoming a step mom is her greatest role in life. When she is not working, she loves to run, dance, watch movies (big X-men fan) and binge her favorite shows (Vampire Diaries and MTV’s the Challenge).
Alanna is a firm believer that success comes from hard work, consistency, passion, community support, and most importantly being kind to others. Betty Rose was born during a time when Alanna decided to quit her social work job and pursue something that fed her soul.. She wanted to pay it forward and give other local aspiring artists the same opportunity who have a dream to be a makeup artist. She hand selects each artist and trains them to learn the makeup style of Betty Rose. Her goal is for all clients to leave the makeup chair still looking like themselves and feeling beautiful. The Betty Rose Family is committed to welcoming each client with open arms, providing quality makeup applications, and creating a stress free, positive environment. Alanna has been hired for over 550 weddings and collectively, the Betty Rose team has been a part of 1000+ weddings.

SAVANNAH | BETTY - LEAD HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST & LEAD SPRAY TAN SPECIALIST
Savannah was born and raised in Albuquerque. She is a cosmetologist graduate of the Aveda Institute. She has been doing hair and makeup for 7 years and has been passionate about it from a very young age. Savannah’s experience with hair and makeup started in high school when she was the go-to hair and makeup artist for fellow classmates’ performances and events. Along with hair and makeup, she loves spending time with her husband, dog Finn and will be welcoming her baby girl in April 2023. Savannah loves crafting, watching RomCom movies, visiting farmers markets and karaoke. Her bubbly personality and positive energy is always the highlight of every appointment when clients sit in her chair. She would love to enhance your inner beauty and help make you look and feel your best for all of your special events. Savannah is the Lead Hair & Makeup Artist and also the Lead Spray Tan Specialist at Betty Rose.
JAYCELYN | BETTY - LEAD HAIR STYLIST
Jayce is the first Hairstylist to join the Betty Rose team. She is a cosmetologist graduate from the Aveda Institute and has 10 years of experience with hair. Her ability to truly listen to the client is one of her strongest qualities as a Betty. Jayce is also passionate about yoga and became a certified instructor in 2020. This mama of three is truly a beautiful soul that brings a balanced, judgement free, and safe energy to the room. Jaycelyn is a 2nd Lead Stylist at Betty Rose.
LAURA | BETTY - LEAD HAIR TRAINER
Laura is a New Mexico Native who has owned her own Bridal Hair and makeup Business for over 5 years. She joined the Betty Rose team at the end of 2020 and we could not be more excited to have her! Laura is a wife and mama of 3 beautiful children. Her innate maternal instincts, huge heart, and talent make her a perfect fit for any bridal event. She will not only make you look your best, but she will make you feel your best while doing it. Laura is the Lead Stylist at Betty Rose and the Lead Instructor for internal training for bridal hairstyling. She also offers style training for stylists aspiring to step into the Bridal world.
ERICA | BETTY - MAKEUP ARTIST & 2ND LEAD IN BRAND OPERATIONS
Erica is a 2019 graduate of the Southwest Makeup Institute. She met Alanna during her shadowing hours for her MUA certification and was drawn to the kindness and generosity of all of the Bettys. Scientist by day, Erica uses makeup artistry as a creative outlet. She enjoys meeting new people and making them look and feel confident. Erica is also the 2nd Lead in Brand Operations, working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly and assisting with growing the Betty Rose brand. There are many exciting new things coming this year that we can’t wait to share with you all! When not working (in the lab, on faces, or branding), Erica loves spending time with her husband and son, knitting, cooking/baking, and indoor climbing.
MICHELLE | BETTY - HMU ARTIST
Michelle was born and raised in New Mexico and is a licensed cosmetology graduate of the Aveda Institute of NM. Her love of hair and makeup goes back to when she was very young. She has always been deeply passionate about the arts and enjoyed making all things beautiful. She works so well with others and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out. She has quickly been dubbed our “comedian” of the group. Aside from Hairstyling Michelle loves reading, greek mythology, theatre and music. She would love to get to know each and every one of you and is honored to be part of your special day. She truly feels that her greatest canvas yet are her beautiful clients!
DANIELLE | BETTY - MAKEUP ARTIST
Danielle is a freelance makeup artist who specializes in bridal beauty, television and film, special effects and male grooming. She has headed makeup departments in productions with major companies such as Vogue, Coca Cola, and VH1. She has worked with AT&T, Bravo, MTV, NBC, New York Fashion Week, Wedding Style, Walmart, AllState, Verizon, Essence, Colgate, and many other notable companies.
Danielle has worked on the set of music videos for 2Chainz, Usher, Gucci Mane, TI, Ludacris and many other music artists She began her career in Atlanta before moving to Albuquerque, and you can often find her bouncing back and forth between the two cities doing what she loves most. Danielle is a mama to her sweet teenage daughter and looks forward to their Sunday hang outs. Her sweet demeanor, attentive listening skills, and artistic hand makes Danielle the perfect makeup artist for your event!

Mariah is a self taught freelance makeup artist based in the Albuquerque with over 10 years of experience in the areas of maternity shoots, weddings and other events of all sizes. Her passion for beauty results in the most beautiful applications and she finds joy in how confident her clients feel after their sessions.
Mariah stays up to date with the ever changing makeup standards and looks and uses the industry’s top quality products that provide you a stunning, radiant look. After 20 years as a professional stylist specializing in cutting, coloring, and styling hair, Lucas is transitioning from his chair to focus on working with Betty Rose and her team. Throughout his career, Lucas has been deeply passionate about creating beauty, particularly for women, and ensuring every client feels special and valued. He cherishes the personal connections he’s built through meaningful conversations, making each appointment truly unique and memorable.
Bridal hair holds a special place in Lucas’s heart, and he’s had the honor of styling hair for over 200 weddings, crafting elegant, personalized looks that bring a bride’s vision to life.
When he’s not working, Lucas enjoys deep conversations, connecting energetically with people, traveling with his amazing partner Dom, attending music festivals, skiing, and indulging in spa and self-care days. He also enjoys practicing yoga, decorating, and working on creative projects at his beautiful home in Placitas, New Mexico, which serves as a constant source of inspiration and tranquility.

ALEKA | BETTY, HAIRSTYLIST
While studying for a degree in theatre, Aleka took a class that sparked her interest in hair. After earning her BFA in Theatre from Eastern New Mexico University in 2008, Aleka moved to Seattle with her husband and enrolled in Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty. It was there that she discovered her love for bridal styling. Alekatakes inspiration for her styles from film, nature, and history. She describes her aesthetic as soft, airy, ethereal, and romantic.
Aleka moved to Albuquerque in 2013 to pursue a career as a hairstylist in film and television. She has worked on numerous commercials, feature films, and television shows as well as working as a bridal hairstylist.
Aleka recently joined Betty Rose as a hairstylist. She enjoys working with brides and their parties and considers it an honor to be a part of their special day. Alekastrives to make each bridal experience fun, positive, and stress free.

Meet Millie, one of Alanna’s most beloved fur babies and the little ray of sunshine who brightens everyone’s day. With her sweet, gentle nature, she’s won the hearts of everyone she meets—whether it’s a colleague or a client! Though she’s a bit shy at first, once Millie warms up, her playful spirit and perfect comedic timing shine through. She’s the team’s top “cutie,” our morale booster, and the constant reminder of how much love a furry friend can bring. We’re so lucky to have Millie around. We love you, little one!
BAMBI|THE TINIEST AND CUTEST BETTY
At just 1.5 lbs, Bambi may be tiny, but she’s definitely mighty! This little ball of fluff is the life of the party, with a personality that’s bigger than she is. Whether she’s running toward you for a cuddle, talking to you through her piggy grunts, or jumping into your lap, she’s the star of the show, always brightening up every moment. It’s impossible not to gush over her every time she runs up to you and leaps into your lap—she’s absolutely the star of the show! Bambi’s playful spirit and endless charm make her impossible to resist, and we’re all smitten by her sweet, snuggly ways. She may be small, but she fills every room with love and joy!
